The Power of the Holy Spirit

Power is defined as the ability to do or to accomplish. Without Power, we cannot achieve much e.g. electricity; because the Spiritual controls the Physical, those who have little or no power or influence in the spiritual easily get the short end of the stick in life e.g. the Sons of Sceva in Acts 19: 11-16.

Many unwise people want power but do not want to pay the price, so they go to great extents to get power from the devil and his agents….. Acts 13: 6-13

What is the Important of Power? Why do you need Power from the Holy Spirit to succeed in life? How do I get this Power?

The Power of the Holy Spirit turns impossibilities to possibilities. All of Creation came from nothing by the Holy Spirit… Gen. 1:1-3

By the Power of the Holy Spirit, dry bones lived again in Ezekiel 37: 1-10. Virgin Mary conceived by the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:34-35. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? (35) And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

I pray that from today, the Spirit of God will turn all impossibilities in your life into mighty testimonies in Jesus’ name!

2. The Power of the Holy Spirit makes the invisible visible

Only those who can see the invisible can achieve great testimonies. Some people have eyes but do not see. The men on the road to Emmaus had eyes but did not recognize Jesus. Luke 24:13-16 and 30-31. Elisha’s servant panicked in the face of the enemy because he could not see the invisible 2 Kings 6: 15-17.

Those who cannot see the invisible end up losing out in life. That is why Paul prayed in Ephesians 1: 18-19 that the eyes of our understanding will be enlightened. I pray that from today, the Power of the Holy Spirit will open your eyes to see what others cannot see in Jesus’ name.

3. The Power of the Holy Spirit brings new testimonies

Many of us have seen God do great things in our lives before, but now we need a fresh touch.

The Holy Spirit specializes in doing new things Joel 2: 23-28. In Acts 2: 1-4, when the Apostles received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, they began to pray and worship in new tongues. Their prayers were no longer hindered.

In Acts 3:1-8, the Power of the Holy Spirit brought healing and deliverance to a man who had been lame for 40 years.

As you receive the Holy Spirit, God will do a brand new thing in your life in Jesus’ name.

How do I get this Power of the Holy Spirit

Act 1: 8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witness unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”

True spiritual power to do the impossible, see the invisible and break new grounds come ONLY from the Holy Ghost.

The Holy Spirit gives His power to those who will serve Him

You do not give your resources to someone who will not serve you. If you choose to serve God from today, He will empower you. Even the power comes in levels. If you want to serve a little e.g. just in Jerusalem, all you will get is a little power. But, if you want to spend and be spent for Jesus, (the uttermost part of the earth), the Holy Spirit will empower you with His uncommon presence.

2. The Holy Spirit gives His power to those who choose to live holy for God

His first name is Holy. Samson had the power but because he remained in his sin, he lost the power because the power is associated with light/vision, he lost his eyes and then lost his life.

If you have lost your vision/testimonies to sin, you can repent right away and God will restore you in Jesus’ name.
